Is this generation F'd??

Between facebook, Instagram, drones hover boards & iPhones, social media & technology has taken over the lives of this generation. Is this a bad thing? Could the acts of millennials have a negative impact on generation Z & generations to come? I've taken to facebook asking my friends, in your opinion what's the problem with this generation? Their answers were unanimously in agreement to one another basically saying this, they are narcissistic entitled, disrespectful kids who are lazy and always wants what the next person has. Would you agree? Studies show that there are 75.million millennials, (those born between 1980-1995) in the US and generation Z (those born in 1996+) make up about 25% of the US population supposedly making Gen Z the largest generation of all. Through my research, I found a ton of interesting facts about Gen Z.

I remember growing up when there was just cable, no DVR or on demand, it was just if you make it on time you get to watch your show. Nowadays, it's different. With Netflix and high-speed internet, Gen Z has little to no patience. Studies also show that the average Gen Zer has the attention span of 8 seconds. That's 1 second LESS than a goldfish.

Like I mentioned earlier, social media and technology are definitely taking over. Studies show that millennials use 3 screens on average whereas Generation Z uses 5. that's a lot of technology! 79% of generation Zers show signs of emotional distress when away from their electronics. Eeeek...

Like millennials, gen Zers are innovative and they have that entrepreneur mentality, I guess that's a good thing.

Speaking of good things, Gen Z's are do-gooders. 60% want their jobs to impact the world somehow, 26% of 16-19 y/o volunteer 76% are concerned about humanity's impact on the world. That's truly outstanding, though 58% are worried about the future.

So, even though Generation Zers have some pretty bad qualities, they also have some good ones. Are they screwed? could it be the fault of millennials in the way they're raising children if they are screwed? Or should we have nothing o worry about?
What's your take on this? Though there are tons more I can add to this, I want to know your opinion.
